Specifications
RONPAK Flexographic Printing uses PMS or Spot colors only.
Print Capabilities: Bags4 PMS colors; Wraps6 PMS colors.
We do not print 4-color process (CMYK or RGB).
- Provide a 100% laser proof and color breakdown.
- Include original source and application files, including linked graphics – Do not embed graphics in your document.
- File format used (for images only) EPS/TIFF
- All fonts both screen and printer should be included (if not outlined).
- Make sure your artwork is built using spot colors and in vector based application (Illus.)
- Do not include files that are not used in your document.
- Do not compress your file.
- Unsupported Software: Corel Draw – Microsoft (NO).
Software
- Supported software: Illustrator 10/CS2, Photoshop 6/CS2, InDesignCS in Mac format.
- Supported Media: Zip100, CD-Rom.
Art and Creative
- Artwork preferred at 100% of finished size and created in Illustrator 10, CS2 or InDesign CS (Mac) – specify percentage if other than 100%.
- Produce all color plates including white backup if included in design.
- Provide a full size color match print proof, indicate PMS color(s) on proof or on separations.
- Indicate Keyline with art in position
Screens
- 55 line (3%-85%) for flexographic printing.
- Screens cannot overlap screens.
- Screens can overprint a single PMS or Spot Color to create another color.
Registration
- Horizontal and vertical 1 pt x 3/8 ‘’ center line rules (No Targets).
- Avoid tight fitting areas that will cause difficult registration.
Types and Trapping
- 1/32 " minimum for Ronpak flexo printing.
- Fine line 1 pt. Pos; 3 pt. Rev.
- Type size 7 pt. Pos; 8 pt. bold Rev. (variable not less than 8 pt.)
Position of Art
- All Ronpak templates will have shaded area indicates - no print (glue seams).
